Coco Glucoside
Coco-Glucoside
Coconut-derived sugar surfactant. Mild, biodegradable, common in 'sensitive skin' face washes.
What it does
Coco glucoside is a non-ionic surfactant from coconut alcohol and corn sugar. It sits in the same gentleness tier as decyl glucoside and lauryl glucoside, with slightly different foam characteristics. The glucoside family is generally compatible with damaged skin barriers, eczema-prone skin, and rosacea flares — situations where a sulfate cleanser would aggravate.
